Brewing Instructions
Description
Warm, calm, comfortable, and grounding. This time of the year is filled with long days that feel mostly dark — so pair this tea with some candles, a lovely treat, and some positive thoughts to make things bright! With a darker, richer blend like this one, consider a splash of honey and maybe even a dash of cinnamon or cardamom on top (though careful, the pinch of hibiscus will curdle milk). We find it a comforting blend both in the morning and in the evening.
Tasting Notes
Spoiler alert: this is my favorite tea from this set. The dry leaf smells like Christmas time — deep orange, clove… reminds me of sticky fruit cake without the heavy sweetness. The taste itself is very warming. The orange adds a brightness to the spicecs as well as a bitterness that cuts through the spices to keep it from getting too heavy.
